Eastern Band Cherokee Traditions
Jenna shares Eastern Band Cherokee herbal teachings as it was passed to her by her Grand (and Great Grandmothers). Jenna provides education on herbs and the most commonly used plants and how to get the best results using them, with emphasis of the power of the herbs, and respect and caution of proper usage. .
Bio Sketch
Jenna 'Raven' Prince: Jen is from a military family, which has allowed her opportunities to experience many diverse people and cultures. Her own heritage is Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Irish. Being from a long line of Medicine Women, she was taught early to understand and respect the power of natural healing techniques. She has studied, counseled, and taught workshops on holistic healing and herbal remedies for over 14 years. She has a degree in Medical Aesthetics, and is working towards becoming a licensed Holistic Practitioner. She believes the answer to true wellness is in understanding how to live in harmony with our surroundings, learning and respecting the powerful remedies nature has always provided. She has also developed her own natural product line that includes herbal teas, bath, and body remedies. She offers private counseling for those wishing to live a better quality of life, and specializes in assisting to calm symptoms connected to menopause, depression, and various other issues.
