Send a Child to School
- Sioux Reservation

We are collecting SCHOOL SUPPLIES for the children on Rosebud and area Reservations.  Donate items to send one child to school. Please see the list of items below.

Please help the Rainbow Center send lots of kids to school!

Send a Child to School
The school supplies will be going to only the public mission schools on Rosebud Indian Reservation, in Mission, South Dakota. There are seven different communities there on the reservation.  This is the area of the country where the historical event of "Wounded Knee" occurred.  The tribes there are Sioux (Lakota and Dakota). There are about 30,000-40,000 people on the reservation and of that 15,000 are children in school.

The need for school supplies is overwhelmingly great and any thing we can send will be appreciated far beyond words can ever express.
